I'm not Catholic. I have no religion. But, in my opinion, Catholic churches are very beautiful, especially their beautiful things into the church.

Currently at the Santuario. Waiting for the mass to be officiated by Cardinal Chito Tagle of the Philippines, as we celebrate the anniversary of the finding of St. Philomena's mortal remains. Just planned to hear the mass at 10am but by the grace of God and the intercession of St. Philomena, we were met and taken care of by the kind and caring fellow Filipino nuns, Sr Connie and Sr Debbie and devotee and Portugal Archon fraternity rep Jehny (fellow Filipino) and hubby Carlos, we stayed on and are currently witnessing the grand celebration of this day. Thank you dear God. Love you St. Philomena, you made all these possible. A promise to you fulfilled. My heart is full of joy.

Our beloved Saint is worth visiting her once a year !! Enjoy the time to speak with the sisters and the wonderful Don Giovanni who has devoted his life to take care of the sanctuary and its spirit.

In Mugnano del Cardinale, in Piazza Umberto I, where the town hall and a war memorial also stand, the Sanctuary of Santa Filomena attracts many devotees from all parts of the region and beyond. The church was built in the last years of the 16th century and dedicated to the Madonna delle Grazie. In the nineteenth century, the relics of the Saint were transferred there, together with an ampoule containing her blood. Since then, faith in Saint Philomena, protector of spouses and of all people who have pain that afflicts them, began to grow. The church welcomes you with its atmosphere of peace and serenity. The ceiling is beautifully decorated with scenes from Mary's life.

The church is beautiful and is located in the center, there is also a car park nearby, the interior is wonderful, the climb to get there by bike is a bit tiring but all in all it's okay
